Looking Cute !

Joanna is looking more cute everyday !  She is now 3 months old and looking great.  She enjoys taking her baths, and wants so badly to be able to suck her thumb but doesn't quite get it yet.  I am enjoying her everyday !

4th of July at Pismo Beach !

Joanna had her first camping trip at only 2 months old ! She was such a trooper.  She did great sleeping in a tent.  She slept through the whole fireworks show being that it was her bedtime but still amazed in how loud the fireworks were and she slept soundly still.  It was a really fun trip as a family together celebrating the 4th of July !

Visit from Grandparents from Oregon

Grandma Lori and Grandpa Mike came visiting from Oregon.  They were also here to be apart of Joanna's baby blessing at church on Sunday the 17th of June.   It was father's day ! My parents were also there and came from Modesto.  It was really nice and Brent gave a beautiful blessing to Joanna that Sunday.  We also had a great time with Lori and Mike at the Sequoias where we hiked to a waterfall to soak our feet in ! It was a very nice visit, and they had a lot of fun with both Joanna and Brenden !

Bonding with Big Brother Brenden !

Your big brother Brenden loved you from the minute he saw you.  He would say "baby Joanna so cute !" He was so gentle and loved helping taking care of everything for you.  He loved getting your pacifier, stocking up on more diapers, opening your wipes, putting your bibs away and picking out your outfit on occasion.  He loved doing tummy time with you and sing songs together with you.  It was truly perfect !

The Arrival of Joanna !

Joanna was finally here ! She came early or just right on time in my eyes.  She was so perfect and healthy !  She was born on Sunday April 22nd ! She weighed 8 lbs 4 oz. and was 20 inches long.  She arrived at 5:49pm and it was lucky I went to the hospital right after church to see how far along I was.  I was having intense contractions at church but thought I had more time in remembering my experience with having Brenden.  I got there to tell me that I was 4 cent. dialated and 90 percent effaced. They said, time to get you ready for surgery and had the baby within the next hour.  It was crazy trying to get my mom there and everything situated in that we thought we were planning to have the baby on Weds. instead !  All went well, and she was so perfect !
